Solve and Integrate's User's Library PURPOSE, PRACTICE, & POLICY * Solve and Integrate's User's Library is a service to users of HP calculators and computers. The User's Library collects software written by users of HP machines (or taken from the public domain) and distributes it for a small handling fee to other users of HP machines. The User's Library guarantees the media the software is shipped on (that is, should we ship you media that is defective on arrival, we are obligated to replace it), but we provide no guarantees or support on the software itself. The User's Library is not obligated to notify customers about the availability of new or revised software, and is not obligated to provide revisions of User's Library software at anything but the software's standard list price. While the User's Library does not formally support the software, we can provide support on the products, in some cases, and would be interested in knowing about bugs in User Library software or deficiencies in its documentation - although we cannot guarantee when or if such problems will be fixed. We would be very happy to consider including your software in our User's Library, given that the software meets a few minimal conditions: 1: The software should be reasonably useful or interesting, robust, and easy to use. 2: There should be enough documentation with the software to allow an intelligent user to get it to work. 3: The software should not pose potential copyright hazards to Solve and Integrate - that is, the software should be original or clearly public-domain. (You will need to sign a legal release form before we can start distributing the software.) We are currently distributing software for HP calculators, hand-held- computers, Series-80 computers, and the Integral PC. We are considering distributing software for the Vectra and for HP BASIC and PASCAL systems on the Vectra. (We cannot currently consider material for our Series-200/300/800 computers, as we do not have the equipment needed for support.) The User's Library can be contacted at: Solve and Integrate User's Library PO Box 1928 Corvallis, OR 97339-1928 (503) 754-1207 * The user accepts and uses this program material AT HIS OR HER OWN RISK, in reliance solely upon his or her own inspection of the program material, and without reliance upon any representation or description concerning the program material.
