NAME
     swab - swap bytes

SYNOPSIS
     swab (from, to, nbytes)
     char *from, *to;

     Origin:   System III

DESCRIPTION
     _S_w_a_b copies _n_b_y_t_e_s bytes pointed to by _f_r_o_m to the  position
     pointed  to  by  _t_o, exchanging adjacent even and odd bytes.
     It is useful for carrying binary data  between  byte-swapped
     and non-byte-swapped machines.  _N_b_y_t_e_s should be even.
