Tomato-Garlic Rice

Serves 15

  • Freshly cooked Plain Jasmine Rice
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1.5 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1.5 tbsp salt
  • Oil for greasing the baking pan and spreading over the rice

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°
  2. As soon as the jasmine rice is cooked, pour 2.5 C water into the pan and stir with a wooden spoon, mashing the rice a bit.
  3. Mix the tomato paste, garlic and salt.
  4. Lightly grease a son-stick baking pan and empty the rice into it.
  5. Grease one hand well with oil and pack the rice down.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
