Temptation Plantains
Ingredients
- 4 mature plantains
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp rum
Procedure
- Peel plantains. Fry in butter on medium heat for about 5 minutes until golden on both sides.
- reduce heat and sprinkle the sugar over the plantains.
- Turn the plantains to spread the sugar well and add the rum.
- Cover and cook gently for about 20 minutes until tender and the sauce has caramelized. Turn once while cooking.
