Temptation Plantains

Ingredients

  • 4 mature plantains
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp rum

Procedure

  1. Peel plantains. Fry in butter on medium heat for about 5 minutes until golden on both sides.
  2. reduce heat and sprinkle the sugar over the plantains.
  3. Turn the plantains to spread the sugar well and add the rum.
  4. Cover and cook gently for about 20 minutes until tender and the sauce has caramelized. Turn once while cooking.
