Sweet and Sour Salad

Ingredients
- 4 large garlic clove chopped
- 8 small thai chilies, chopped
- 2C carrots, julienned
- 8C white cabbage, thinly sliced
- 8 green beans cut into 1" length
- 8 tomatoes, chopped
- 6 tbsp fish sauce
- .75C lemon juice
- .75C sugar
- .25C ground dried shrimp
- .5C crushed roasted nuts
- basil leaves to garnish
- 1 frisée lettuce, separated into leaves, to serve
Procedure
- Grind the garlic and chilies into a paste.
- transfer to a bowl and add carrots, cabbage, green beans, tomatoes, fish sauce, lemon juice, sugar, ground dried shrimp, and nuts.
- mix well
- Arrange a bed of lettuce on platters and top with salad. Garnish with basil.
