Stewed Corn and Tomatoes with Okra
Ingredients
- 18 scallions, chopped
- 3 fresh jalapeņo finely chopped, with seeds
- 3 large green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
- .25 C salted butter
- 3 lb tomatoes coarsely chopped
- 9 C corn (15 to 18 ears)
- 1.5 lbs small fresh okra, trimmed, keeping stems intact
