Shredded Beef
Makes about 7 cups.
Ingredients
- 4 lbs skirt steak or flank steak cut into 1" cubes
- 4 small white onion, roughly chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- Place the ingredients into a sauce pan, cover with water and bring to a boil.
- Simmer covered until tender , about 40 minutes. Do not over cook
- Set aside for the meat to cook off in the broth, then strain.
- When cool, shred the meat.
