Broiled Masala Lamb Chops

Serves 12 to 16

Ingredients

  • 1/3C tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 28 cloves crushed garlic
  • 4 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2-3 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 1/3C lemon juice
  • 6 lbs thin (not more than .5" thick) lamb chops
  • 1.5C heavy cream
  • Mint sprigs
  • Freshly ground black pepper.

Directions

  1. Combine ginger, garlic, cumin, cayenne, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  2. Add the lamb rubbing well with the marinade
  3. Put the chops in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours.
  4. Sprinkle all sides of the chops with black pepper.
  5. Grill while basting in cream.
  6. Garnish with mint sprigs and serve.
