Broiled Masala Lamb Chops
Serves 12 to 16
Ingredients
- 1/3C tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 28 cloves crushed garlic
- 4 tbsp ground cumin
- 2-3 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 4 tsp salt
- 1/3C lemon juice
- 6 lbs thin (not more than .5" thick) lamb chops
- 1.5C heavy cream
- Mint sprigs
- Freshly ground black pepper.
Directions
- Combine ginger, garlic, cumin, cayenne, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Add the lamb rubbing well with the marinade
- Put the chops in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours.
- Sprinkle all sides of the chops with black pepper.
- Grill while basting in cream.
- Garnish with mint sprigs and serve.
