Fresh Tomato Sauce
for 4 pounds pasta
Ingredients
- 20 large ripe tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 C fresh basil leaves
- 3/4 C extra virgin olive oil
- 10 cloves garlic minced
- salt and pepper to taste
Process
- drain tomatoes for 20 min
- Stir in basil, olive oil, garlic and season
- Let stand for at least 30 min
- sprinkle over pasta with basalmic vinegar
