Burmese Ginger Salad

Ingredients

Salad

  • 8 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 C lentils
  • 1 C jalapenos sliced
  • 1 C peanuts
  • 1 C dried shrimp
  • 1 C toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 C freshly pealed sliced ginger
  • Corn oil for frying

Dressing

  • 4 tbsp fish sauce
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp corn oil

Directions

  1. Fry garlic, lentils, peanuts separately in corn oil until golden b rown
  2. Wisk sauce
  3. Serve ingredients individually on platter with sauce in the middle.
